I need help verify if I got scammed
I recently was massage for a remote Data Entry job for the company ALL Sheet Metal Design LLC. I was message with the saying that my resume and skills that I entered on CalJobs website (which unemployment forced me to create) matched me. The pay is $25 an hours after training and $22 for the 7 business day of training. It's a M-F 8 am to 5 pm. I did my interview over Teams with a David Roger. The interview he just asked about my back ground and didn't ask for any personal information such as for my DL or Bank account info at all during the interview. So I did the interview and next day I got the offer letter. I looked up the website and to me it seems legit. I checked online to see what the average pay rate for remote Data Entry in California and it's $25. So I gave my personal information because to me it seems legit. And my last employers had did the same process of having me send my information over online. I started "training" on Wednesday Dec. 4th. And each day was 3 hours of me doing basic data entry tasks and submitted my work through email to my "manager" David. I have not been asked for any personal information on any of these days. I contacted Better Business Bureau to have them looked into and was told that because no complaints or because no one reported anything on them that they can't do much to confirm if the company is legit. Was pretty much told to do my own research. So I'm stuck and wanting to know what to do? I froze my credit and put Anti-virus and security to all my personal information with banks, credit and social Security. I'm just praying that this company is an legit job and that I wasn't scammed. I just can't take anymore bad news.
