Is there *any* way to get the Crescent City audiobooks without Audible

I’m so frustrated about these “audible exclusives”, they make things so inaccessible! It really sucks for people who rely on libraries.

I would like to start the CC books but I want to know that I like them without having to spend all that $ & have to have an Audible membership. At least ACOTAR and TOG I could start with the library audiobooks and then splurged on the TOG audiobooks once I knew I loved them. I discovered ACOTAR wasn’t for me after 1.75 books and I would’ve been frustrated if I’d spent a bunch of $ to find that out.

Audible has gotten pretty strict about returning audiobooks once you’ve played some of them.

I think it’s unkind of SJM to agree to give exclusivity to Amazon and cut off so many people who need libraries and have sight impairment or other issues that make audiobooks the primary/only way they can read.

Anyone know if there are any other more affordable audiobook stores or options for the CC audiobooks? Ideally that don’t make me give money to an evil company like Amazon?
