City Sports in Crocker Village
Hey everyone! I’m not normally the type to make a complaint post but after a recent event I felt I needed to. Sorry to be annoying!
I’ve been shopping around for gym memberships lately and I was wondering if anyone else has any weird experiences with City Sports?
Lately I’ve been getting hounded by calls from City Sports gym in Crocker Village to sign up for a membership. Nothing out of the ordinary, of course — just constant calls and voice messages. I looked a bit more into the gym online and found a Google review of talking about the “big booties” they see in there.. which was responded to positively by the gym! So I told them I wasn’t interested because of the review and to take me off their call list. But then they kept calling — so again, I stated I was not interested due to the review and not feeling like it’s a safe environment if it encourages that kind of behavior. The man on the phone then became EXTREMELY condescending and asked if I’m really going to believe everything I see online, despite the fact that the review is right there for everyone to see.
The review itself wasn’t even a HUGE deal — but as soon as he started getting condescending about it and acting like it didn’t exist, I didn’t feel comfortable ever doing business with them.
