Is there financial growth if I make a career from just being an SLPA, and not going for my Masters?

Hello! Could anyone in NC tell me their annual/hourly salary, who has been in this field for a while? I wondered if there is enough growth in this field as an SLPA where it would be worth staying in this position and making a career as is, or if I should take the leap to get my Masters to become an SLP. I like my position of doing the treatments and notes, and not having to worry about paperwork, etc. It allows me to not have to take too much work home with me... However, I am unsure if the pay would be worth it if I am considering doing this for 20+ years. (this is my first year as an SLPA, I graduated in May.) My HH pay is $30/session, while my part-time school position is $25/hr where I currently live but was offered $35/hr for the Triangle area.

If I choose to work for a school system, will I continue to get raises annually, or is there a cap for SLP assistants?

Thank you for your help.
