To those of you who buy used androids to take advantage of trade in opportunities, how much do you usually save?

On Black Friday, I bought a S24 Ultra 512GB for 1069.99, so I saved roughly $350, but I recently realized I could potentially buy an older phone for much cheaper and then trade that in. Although, after looking at Samsung's offers, the savings afterward seem on par or worse than my Black Friday deal.

The thought for this popped up when I realized that the s25 ultra was coming out soon, but I'm not really sure if the new s25ultra is really worth going through the hassle of this process and am just trying to figure it out.

It seems like the recent phones are just marginally better than the last and I also like the fact that after a year it seems that people are still positive with the S24 and I would prefer to avoid the irritation I experienced when I got the S22 and how much it overheated at first.
