is retro bowl getting boring 🥱 here’s a way to switch it up completely…
are you getting tired of just playing retro bowl the same way for 5 years? here's a way to spice it up completely that took me from almost quitting to loving the game again?
you're a head coach: so embrace it. i used to think simming games was rather useless, until i started only using sim and trying to win a retro bowl. i started tracking stats, and instead of being the team/the player, i was the coach. i expected it to be boring, but it turned out to bring a twist to the game that made it extremely enjoyable once again. team building and management is the main priority now. you now influence your team before the game, not during.
you will find out it isn't very challenging to have a great regular season, but it is very challenging to make it all the way through the playoffs and win it all. that's why i have just one rule: 1 restart allowed per season. i find this to be helpful because oftentimes the RNG makes a ⭐️ team beat your ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ team.
this is a totally different way to play the game, and soon you'll be able to do it in college too once they add sim mode. go and try it, it's a lot of fun and you can complete a season in like 10 minutes.
