Rental price assessment for new contract
Hi everyone, just discovered this subreddit.
I'm about to move in to an apartment where the price seems to differ quite a bit from the rental price assessment. The apartment has about 170 points which means it should cost under ~1160 but the rental price is ~1450. The contract starts January 1st 2025, does that mean that the point assessment has to be part of the contract, since that is when the rule comes into effect? Also should I ask for them to lower the price before signing the contract or after? I am very worried about them refusing to sign it if I ask for a different price and finding another tenant, but I do need to move.
