Adaptive Skating Program in Reno.

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share Ice Allies, a nonprofit program I started to help adaptive kids and people with disabilities experience the joy of skating and even get into hockey if they’re interested. We’re based in Reno and partner with Reno Ice to create a welcoming, inclusive environment on the ice.

We’re looking for adaptive students who want to join our program—whether they’re completely new to skating or have some experience and want to grow. We’re here to meet each student where they’re at, with a team dedicated to providing a fun, supportive experience.

Our staff is made up of students from UNR, bringing both our passion for skating and a commitment to our community. We’re also looking for sponsors to help keep the program accessible by supporting things like ice time, equipment, and gear.

If you or someone you know would be interested in joining, or if you’d like to discuss sponsorship opportunities, feel free to reach out or drop a comment!

Thank you for helping us make Ice Allies an inclusive space for everyone!
