Surgery on Friday. They called me yesterday to say I needed a Mammo first. Abnormal results.
Nerves and anxiety are at an all time high. My office dropped the ball. Not once over the last two months has a mammogram been mentioned. Not in my initial appointment. Not in the surgical consult. Not at my pre admission testing, and not when the nurse called me last week for more medical questions. They called me yesterday and told me I needed to have one before Friday. I got it yesterday ( I work for the hospital system that’s doing the surgery) results came in this morning ( see pic) now I have to have diagnostic mammo and US tomorrow afternoon. I was so afraid of this surgery and and just recently made peace with it and was excited rather then nervous or scared. Now we are going to be coming up to the day before my surgery to know weather or not I can have it done. I guess I just want to see if anyone has had results like this. Any thoughts about weather or not they will still do it? Thanks.
