Earnest Money
My spouse and I made a irrational decision to sell our home and buy a new one. We spoke with our realtor and set our house to go on the market within a few weeks. We found a house that we thought we liked based on the current homes available and not wanting to be homeless after selling our home. We reached an offer agreement that stipulated the sale of our home etc. The house is still active on the market they have not listed it as pending or even under contract and are taking offers and viewings still. I am now feeling this huge pull to not move and just invest more into our current home.
Is there a way out of all of this where I get some of my earnest money back? Do I just tell my realtor we no longer wish to sell our home and move?

ETA: our home has not yet reached the date to go on the market, or had pictures done for the listing.
2nd edit: thanks for the replies, I’ll just call the realtor and see if I lose it all
3rd and final edit: I am in no way mad or even suggesting the sellers did anything “wrong” by keeping the house listed as active. That was really to help paint the picture that they have not lost out on any offers or potential sale by taking it off market (bc it never was). There is some personal/marriage things happening and the sale of our home is NOT going to be possible. I am calling my agent first thing to let her know we are no longer interested. If I lose the money it’s on me.
