Keep getting stuck on „Please wait while we connect you to the Rainbow Six Siege servers.“

Hey guys, been running into an issue where regardless of if I play on pc or ps5 my game will get stuck in the aforementioned prompt. Reinstalled the game and it seemed to go a little faster but it’s very odd since it just started a few days ago. After a few times loading it has no return to being stuck on the prompt. Using the same network as then. LAN with DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which I had changed to half a year ago as I was experiencing lots of lag on ps5. Sometimes it doesn’t load at all and sometimes it takes roughly 10 min to get into the game with repeated connection errors. My internet is good and in games I have good ping, am able to communicate and join other lobby’s etc. also to note is that other games work perfectly fine. It’s just r6 that has this issue. Has anyone dealt with such a thing before? PS: no servers are not down currently or at any time of this issue occurring.
