Seller review:
Queenie was responsive and kind. They were honest and prompt with their communications, letting me know about factory delays and answering all my questions. I made my purchases through yupoo, and talked to Queenie directly through Whatsapp.
Shipping: I paid 800yuan for shipping to the east coast, USA.
- Prada Sidonie calf leather: 1430 Yuan
Review: The bag is beautiful. The leather and hardware is great quality, the branding looks right. The cons about the bag are: first, this model (all leather calf, white with the black trim) can't be found anywhere online - except for a 2019 runway photo. I don't think it was actually released for sale, so it sometimes feels like it's almost like a fantasy item. Secondly, the stitching in the back is not perfect. It's clearly visible in the second photo below. Retail has perfect stitching throughout. I told Queenie that I was seeing something off on the QC, they said that it was a detail caused by hand stitching. In person it looks a little worse than in pictures. Third, the inside logo stamp is obviously flawed. For the price, I would have loved to have a flawless bag. Of course, it's still a loooot cheaper than retail and the design is beautiful. This is my first luxury rep purchase and I am not unhappy with it. Just, could have been better, I guess.
Score: 7/10
Stamp is flawed, there are leaks in the R and the M.
- Re-Nylon shoulder bag: 880 Yuan
Review: The bag is beautifully made. No complaints about the nylon, the stitching or the hardware. The badge also feels right. Lining material is high quality, zippers are great and the leather details are well achieved. I'm very happy with this purchase. The ONLY con is that there was a plastic cover protecting the badges, but it seems that each badge was studded into the bag WITH the plastic cover on, so when removing the cover there was still plastic stuck between the studs and the badge piece. This plastic was extremely hard to remove and in the end I had to use an Exacto knife to remove it, which caused mini-scratches on the metal in the badge. It SUPER annoyed me that the factory would cause such unnecessary problems. I'm surprised that I never read any reports of this issue on reddit. Is there a better way to remove this plastic pieces? Anyway, I love the bag. It would be a perfect score if it wasn't for this issue.
Score: 9/10
Notice the tiny plastic still attached between the badge and the studs here as well.
