Did anyone actually beat this game as a kid?

When the first Psychonauts came out, I was just a wee one. By the time the game flew onto my radar, I wasn’t a kid anymore. For those of you who did play it when you were a kid, were you able to beat it? I don’t think I would’ve gotten past the first level 🫣
