Help me understand this. Is this a subconscious program/pattern we have to overcome to be free?
Can someone help me with a spiritual answer to this pattern I have been aware of?
Hello people, So I have been noticing a tendency in society and human interactions, so I belive it’s a psychology or spiritual phenomenon. I have noticed in today’s world being a victim and a victim story is what gives you power over people and narratives, and being strong and not complaining is seen as evil. It feels like being a perpetual victim ends up being the goal and what will give you unconditional support from the world specially on social media. And I also notice that this position gives people an identity and it becomes like an addiction In a sense. And if it becomes a pattern I see ,these people end up having a very strong covert narcissistic personality disguised as a result of their victimhood.
What makes me sad is I belive society encourages that type of behaviour and personality. Not being a perpetual victim means you are responsible and accountable for your actions and it means you don’t receive mercy from people. So many poeple seeing this pattern unconsciously choose to take this position and can’t even seem to acknowledge that sometimes they are in the wrong and not everything will revolve around them and be perfect adapted to their wishes. I also see that this applies to the group thinking and whole identity groups (nationalities, gender, …) .
So my questions are: Why do you think this is? Are we really prepared to take accountability for ourselves and be strong as individuals and the collective we identify as with? Has this pattern been going on for as long as we have existed and few people can break out? Why are we so easily fooled and asume someone is the victim of a situation without analysing the context ?
Thank you and sorry English is not my first language. Much love ❤️
