I finally released The Focus Project!!!

Over the last 3 months, I spent 292 hours and 30 minutes building this desktop app. But I’ve actually been using the prototype since June 2023.

It’s not a fancy task manager. It’s not a strict time tracker. Instead, every 15 minutes, it asks you "What actually happened?"

No timers. No guilt. Just a quick check-in to help you stay aware of where your time actually goes.

Why I Built This

Focus and I? We’ve never really been friends. Work took forever. I waited until the last second. Or I’d just stare at a blank screen for hours.

So I tried every productivity tool I could find. Nothing clicked.

Then I built a simple prototype of The Focus Project. That clicked.

How It Works

✅ Every 15 minutes, non-intrusive pop-up asks: "What actually happened?"
✅ You pick from a list of customizable tasks (e.g., "Deep work," "Emails," "Scrolled Reddit").
✅ Over time, you get a clear, no-BS picture of where your time actually goes.

Looking for Feedback!!!
