Internationals with loved ones in TDCJ, how do you get to call ?

A question for those with LO in TDCJ only please.

So TDCJ doesn’t allow international calls. And in order to register your phone number you have to have an American ID and what not which I do not have. My loved one gets more and more desperate to hear my voice with each passing day always asking me to call the Unit to call whoever I need to call to get us to be allowed to talk to each other on the phone.

I’ve tried everything to no avail. Those with international who have loved ones in Texas prisons, have you been able to call each other? If so, how?, please DM - we are both getting desperate. Yes, we do have a video visit planned for end of next month!
