How to celebrate the holidays

Hey ladies! This is my first holiday season with my incarcerated LO. He’s always felt forgotten around this time of year (family doesn’t reach out) and I want to make him feel special. He was recently transferred to County Jail to go back to court … so he will be spending Christmas away from his closest friends at his normal prison.

Any advice on special things I can do for Christmas, would be appreciated.

So far, I’m thinking xmas cards, playing a Christmas song over the phone since he doesn’t have music anymore, etc
