997 GT3 pre-purchase anxiety

Hello lads,

am considering buying a 911. I like the 997 GT3 a lot as it was a poster I had in college. literally just like the way it looks and the car feels nostalgic. I paid a small non-refundable deposit to a dealer in another province and am second guessing… I will ONLY be using a GT3 to flex on my friends (lmao) and to recklessly drive to meetings on sunny days.

the idea of a 991.2 GTS has started to grow on me as a daily though as it just feels James Bond as fuck.

I currently daily an M5 Comp.

questions: 1. Am I stupid for considering getting a 997 if money isn’t a factor in the decision? Should I just go for a 991.2 GT3? 2. Will a 991.2 GTS feel too shitty (slow) for me coming from an m5 comp? How do you feel about daily driving it (I am a tech business owner and don’t have a regular commute) 3. Is this even worth considering or do I just spec a new GT3 and stop being stupid

Don’t ask me why but i really don’t like the way the new GT3 looks. It’s illogical.
