Has Trump gained new voters since 2020?

Normally when a president or candidate loses an election, as Trump did in 2020, they fade into the political wilderness and lose influence within their party and nationally, making it unlikely for them to seek office again.

Trump however has had remarkable staying power within the Republican party, though with far more notable internal critics than normal for an ex-president.

Biden's job approval and popularity have fallen over the course of his term, such that his approval favorability* ratings are now matching that of the unfavorable/favorable ratings of Trump in a recent Gallup poll published Jan 9th:

Donald Trump - Favorable: 42%, Unfavorable: 57%

Joe Biden - Favorable: 41%, Unfavorable: 58%

However Joe Biden's ratings appear to have been a more recent loss among younger voters in the wake of the Oct 6th attack on Israel by Hamas, maintaining around 47% with 55+ voters versus 30% with under 35 and 40% with 35 to 54 year old voters, for an 8% loss among those two age groups and a 1% uptick among 55+ voters.

Donald Trump's on the other hand appears to have consistent favorability ratings between 37 to 42% post presidency with all age groups, with a slight uptick in the latest polling.

Has Trump made a good case to American voters for why they should hand him a win against a candidate he previously lost to?

Will Biden regain approval from younger voters as the election nears, or will his approval remain steady, or will these voters vote for him anyway as a form of not-Trump vote?
