Am I missing something about Journey together ?

Why are people buying everything related to Journey Together? I see posts from people pre-ordering single boosters from GameStop, acting like they've made the deal of a lifetime, or ETBs (not PC). They compare it to PE without considering that Journey Together is not a special set (so less hype and it has a much larger quantity). Am I missing something, or is the FOMO and hype now out of control?

I bought enough PE and I'll do the same with the rocket set, i won't buy this set but I'm quite curious
