What kinda STUPID ASS design flaw is this

This pissed me off beyond belief. Been treating my portal like a newborn baby since it arrived while eagerly waiting for the case to arrive as well, as it wasn't available where I got the portal.

Got the case today and it miraculously fails at that one single purpose it has.

Anyways, so many happy posts here I thought I'd mix things up a bit and lovingly share my rage (I mean seriously, LOOK at this shit).
