Talk me off the ledge… 😂
So in 2019 I had a plantar Fasciotomy repair (the fascia had completely torn) along with a lateral ankle repair on my right foot. I was non weight bearing for 6 weeks due to the ankle, and in a boot another 4 weeks after. I have been absolutely pain free since.
December 12th 2024, I had a plantar Fasciotomy on my left foot. I was non weight bearing for 2.5 weeks, and in a boot for 4 weeks after.
I’ve been in a shoe since Saturday and I am really worried the surgery wasn’t successful. It still feels like I’m stepping on a rock, and I can feel a hard mass where they did the surgery. Has this happened to anyone else and over time it got better??
