Black Myth Wukong has Denuvo but apparently there's a cheap way to play the game?

Just curious is this a legit thing? I've heard some people sell their steam accounts for offline play so you could get the full game and play in offline mode. Ngl it seems sketchy, what are the pros and cons of this method?
Obviously not gonna name any names but the sites I've seen seemed shady at best.

UPDATE: Got an account but Denuvo limits activations to 5 devices per day, I guess I didn't make it so I gotta try again in 24 hours

UPDATE 2: Game's activated, everything works well. Make sure to ask your seller about the queue. If you wanna play on the same day you gotta be one the first 5 buyers.
