Pimax : Liars.
Received an email stating my headset was ready for dispatch at the end of June, when I then paid for headset. Received no communication as delivery dates came and went. Then received an email in August stating that I'd be getting the headset mid August. Mid August comes and another email comes saying I'll be getting the headset by the end of August due to a manufacturing issue.
How is it possible for a headset that is "ready for dispatch" to be delayed by an issue in manufacturing?
It can be 1 of 2 of the below:
Pimax lied by stating my headset was ready in June,
Or
Pimax are lying now about the manufacturing issue.
Either way, they are liars.
I suspect that they are holding all orders in specific locations in order to save on import fees etc. I'm UK based. Be interested to know if anyone else in the UK has been served with the same incompetence?
I think anyone who is getting these delay emails should hit them where it hurts and call back if paid by credit and raise disputes if by PayPal. Mine is going through as I have no faith in getting it processed through support who are almost non existent.

I've asked for an order cancellation and full refund if they cannot dispatch by this week. QuorraPimax has provided a dispatch date by 25.08.23. I'm extremely doubtful this will be honoured so expect that I will be asking for a refund come 25.08.23. Will update accordingly.

I have received a dispatch notification from Pimax (23.08.2023) and tracking number confirms I should receive the headset by 29.08.2033, as QuorraPimax stated. I'm surprised given how poor it's been so far with Pimax, and not sure if it's coincidence or not that as soon as I acted like an hole and requested refund it was dispatched.
