Who is your favorite Filipino author?

Hello! I’m not much of a reader but I want to get into reading again. I enjoy reading fantasy books and I want to enrich my imagination grounded by our culture. Okay lang din ibang genres. Puro western books kasi ang nasa shelf and Kindle ko hehe. Do you have book recommendations? English or Tagalog is okay. Who is your favorite Filipino author?
