A Big Update To My Previous Post about Tower Guides!

Hey guys! My last post got a lot of love so I'm very grateful for that! ❤

This is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@yjmax97
I have playlists for all the different content, and I have strategies for all of the difficult Tower stages that do not use Domain Megumi. Only Floor 46 is missing right now because I wasn't recording when I cleared it using my stall team. Floor 46 is the most awful floor to have to stall through, so I'm surprised I even managed to find a way to make it work 😂 I will record and upload it eventually, so stay tuned!

I finished clearing all of Illusory Tower a few days ago, and so I partly wanted to make this post as somewhat of an encouragement for F2P players to show the community that you can progress efficiently and "compete" with the big spenders through good strategy. As you can see below, I just hit Rank 3 in the NA leaderboard for the fastest and lowest turn Tower clear! Not that it matters, but it's cool to see that I can make it there without being a big spender. I did come up with a 5 Turn strategy that I know can outrank my attempt, but it requires a specific recollection that I do not have.

Anyways, I wanted to bring up four different topics: Tower, Gacha luck, Efficiency, and Tier Lists

I. Tower
I think the most important thing to specify first is that there is absolutely no rush to clear Tower quickly. The rewards are one-time and it's a permanent game mode, so go at your own pace! Rushing will make it very stressful, and the only reason I did it is because it was a nice challenge for my account and because I wanted to make helpful guides for the community. I cleared 1-50 without Domain Megumi for every single floor because that's who a lot of F2P and new players are missing. He's the most broken character in the global version by far and makes Tower significantly easier, so I wanted to show people who don't have him that it's still possible without. Of course, you still need decent units and that brings me to my next point, Gacha Luck.

II. Gacha Luck
I'm going to breakdown my entire gacha journey in this game since its release. I could not get Yuta in over 150 pulls, so I rerolled accounts over and over again until I got A1 Yuta on one of them.

Here are the purchases I've made so far ($27):
- 3x Phantom Parade Pass (2790 Paid Cubes, ~9000 free cubes)
- 1x Monthly Pass (430 Paid Cubes, 3000 free cubes)

Afterwards, here are the only summons I did after that point and what I got from them:
- Geto: A1 in 20 pulls (This was extremely lucky of course, but Geto isn't needed for any stage of Tower)
- HP Gojo: A0 in 120 pulls
- SSR Yellow Nanami: 0 copies in 150 pulls (My favorite JJK character 😭)
- Teen Gojo: A0 in 60 pulls (I used two of my dupe shards to get him to A2)
- Domain Megumi: from the recent Guaranteed SSR using 3000 of the paid cubes I had
- Still have 56k free cubes remaining, which means I haven't even used the 12k I got from the $27 I've spent

As you can see, my luck was definitely above average overall, and that is pretty important in clearing Tower the way I did. Without HP Gojo, I would've gotten stuck on the higher green ones for sure, saving cubes + universal dupe shards for Teen Gojo definitely carried a lot of the tower stages for me, and rerolling for A1 Yuta gave me the power I needed to get through a lot of the red stages. But I'm sure you can also tell, that this isn't insanely crazy luck! I rerolled for Yuta and didn't get ridiculous results on any of the banners besides Geto but again, he's not needed for any of the Tower content (although he was extremely useful for the new Extreme Main Story stages 👀). The reason I'm telling you guys this is to show that saving efficiently and pulling for the right units gets you a strong account that can handle all endgame content.

III. Efficiency
Next, there are a few big tips I want to give to maximize resource efficiency for players:
- We've been getting 2x drop enhancement quest weekends for a while now, and it's really important to maximize your usage of those in order to progress meaningfully as a low spender. Save your AP packs for those exclusively, and three days before the start of your "weekend", collect AP from cursed stroll and then let it accumulate. What time or day your weekend starts depends on where you live in the world, since everything in-game just follows Japanese Standard Time
- The same concept applies to Domain Investigations. Enter 3 days before the weekend starts, and don't do any until the weekend begins. You can finish the one you entered on the first weekend day, and then do the remaining 3 you have saved up as well. Of course, this is mind numbingly boring but you do get a lot more skill crystals, tokens, etc. by doing this
- When events are live, focus pretty much all of your AP on them unless it's a 2x drop weekend day. Story events give a ton of mats across the board because you can reset the final lottery infinitely, and even map events give you more cursed objects per AP spent as long as you're farming for a specific cursed object. If you want to farm a variety of cursed objects instead, you're better off farming the cursed object collection stages. Of course, still make sure to farm map events until you finish clearing out the shop

IV. Tier Lists
Tier lists are all subjective, but as someone who has a decent understanding of the game, I felt like I might as well make some for the community to reference! I see a lot of misinformation being tossed around so I hope this is somewhat helpful. I personally don't believe supports should be ranked in the same category as sub DPS/debuffers/damage units, so I've ranked them separately. All the placements are in order within the same tier as well. You might disagree with a few placements here and there, that's completely fine! I have no problem with people not agreeing; I just wanted to put out a decent one that made sense. This character tier list is not Tower specific, it's for all content overall. For Tower specifically, placements change a little bit, although not by much.

I hope this post was helpful to some of you guys. I put a ton of effort into my team comps and video guides, so share them with other people if you get the chance.
