People who say “in my country” without specifying WHAT location!

Seriously, I constantly see people posting “in my country we do x” but they don’t specify WHAT country they live in! It drives me crazy! How can us Americans learn about other countries/cultures if we can’t picture where you are on the map? I can see not giving away your exact city, but at least tell us what nation you’re referring to when you say “in my country”!
