A reminder to ask for discounts

Just a friendly reminder to contact your service providers and ask for discounts. I usually do it once a year or so and can pick up some good results. If they won't offer you anything, don't be afraid to move provider. The new ones usually will offer an introductory bonus/discount/reward of some description.

I just spent 20 mins on the phone to One(vodafone) and got a 20% annual discount. They initially said no, so I pushed and asked again and they offered me a discount on both phones and a $100 credit on my broadband bill. Not bad for 20 minutes I was doing nothing else will.
