An opinion regarding investing in NZ
Hello everybody, I am an Italian working for one of the main Italian banks as a client investment advisor. I keep receiving questions by my clients about investing in NZ, as from here it is seen as a safe haven, far away from wars, with a good law and healthcare system. There are no specialized ETFs or mutual funds in Europe available to retail investors. We could only buy NZ government bond in NZD or funds investing 98% in Australian equities and 2% in NZ. Maybe we could buy some NZ single stocks listed on secondary market such as Frankfurt. In my opinion there is no real advantage for a European in investing in NZ; maybe it could be reasonable to move there and change life... How do you see these thoughts? Are there projects or stocks worth investing and how can I make an idea? Do you have any resource to suggest? It's such a different economy to evaluate. Thank you
