u/SpiralizedCabbage made his post (here) about his 6' 7" Snowman and someone in the comments of his post dropped an 8' 6" snowman.

This humble lad clocks in at a best/nearest measurement of 7' 4" (I didn't grab a ladder to verify; might be a touch taller overall)...

Let's see if any other contenders appear!
