Magmatic Strikes calculation in PoB

Hello everyone!

The tooltip for Magmatic Strikes in PoB doesn't show any info on DPS and such. Full DPS and damage numbers on skills are also not changing when the node is picked.

Is this an oversight? How do I crunch the numbers on this manually, and could I put an applicable wording for the calculation in the custom mods config text box for example?
