Memory Card

Hi all!

I’ve just purchased a 1000 model OLED Vita and I tried to find some information online, is it true that only 2000 models can use SD2vita regardless if it’s modded? Sorry if it is a simple question but I don’t want to spend a lot on an official memory card. Thanks!
