Why did my friend not unfriend me after saying they dont want to be friends anymore

So a month ago my friend decided to not be friends with me anymore because i made him uncomfortable sometimes, and i played with him online and have friended him on most social media sites. And he hasn't unfriended me on anything, idk if its a sign that he may come back or he just forgot to. Idk if i should be overreacting with this i just need advice really thats all.
