The PS3 online community has revived my passion for gaming, it is NOT dead.
Hey guys, recently my ps5 decided to die on me , and while i wasnt playing it much at all i was a little bummed my main console was dead and i cant play any game until i decided to break out my ps2 and ps3 i bought a few years ago again to play some older games. Im a fairly young gamer too so some lot get surprised when i tell them i keep the older consoles ,however for a WHILE i felt i had outgrown gaming, i didnt own more then 1 game on my ps5 with the rest being ps4 and even then i had few on and off periods finding myself being bored often which is why i purchased the older consoles.
Anyways, with my ps5 dead and at the repair shops i thought about online games on the ps3 and man, its fucking amazing. I came into this thinking every cod at least was dead or hacked and thats 50 percent right but BO1 is just a gem , no hackers , at least in the 150 games ive played so far, and its alive, i have been grinding this game so much recently ive got that feeling like im actually gaming again , the simple UIs active communities , quick matches no sliding all over the place at 120fps on some nasa monitor but me my ps3 and my 43 inch tv. I find myself having that feeling again with assignments due in the morning and at 1 am im playing bo1 because im that hooked on what each game will bring me because one i get killstreaks and the next im dying left right and centre. Then GTA 4 online, this is all so much more fun and simple
I hope this post can act a sentiment for those who claim the ps3 days bring more joy only because of nostalgia because im a fairly young gamer and say this ps3 online has bought me more fun then any ps5 game in the nearly 5 years its been out its stupendous and amazing , because i didnt experience this back when these games came out but some of these games are active and its so so fun enough that i made this extremely long post about it , feel free to add me and we can play it feels like years since ive waited for a friday so bad to stay home and just play. Ps3 is banging!
