Trying to get into PCB construction what he hell is happening

I got bored and started researching motherboards and found PCB stuff I found an website for free called easyeda that is basically a car for this stuff I know what some of he parts to buy not how to make this board do anything other than send electricity through it, YouTube seems to be no help or I'm not looking in the right place. How do I make the board actually do something like I saw his guy made a PCB board to make a height changing desk but I have no idea where to even start can someone link me some videos or forms to help me out thanks
