How would have "Michael Clayton" be viewed as Best picture winner (2007)
Michael Clayton was realesed on August 31th of 2007 at Venice film festival and later on October 5th of the same year international. The film was directed by Tomy Gilroy and produced by Sydney Pollack and Jennifer fox and tells the story of a man who discovers a cover-up by one of his firm's clients with starring George Clooney,Tom Wilkerson,Tilda Swinton and Sydney pollack. The film received acclaim from Critics who praised the direction, screenplay and acting from Clooney and grossed 93m against the budget of 23m. The film was nominated for seven oscars with Swinton winning best supporting actress for her role at the film.
Michael Clayton doesn't seems to be that of wide spoken film. People who have watched it say that it's very good and deserving of a accolade but consider it was realesed to the same year as There will be blood and No country for old men then i don't know who the reception would had been.
