How do you disable 'Volume alert'?

I'm really tying to enjoy this phone coming from a long line of Google based phones - "volume alert" is pissing me right off more than anything. It never goes off/turns on when I use my earbuds...hilariously...2 pairs....but my car, the bluetooth connection instantly gets the volume cranked to nothing because of this.
