Help!

Kinda new here and new in game so I use all my gems from start to get shanks and make him to level 80 now i have gems 548 and I complete the story mode on normal level got some gems from there and save some more I haven’t finished difficulty level yet so I should save more gems and wait for the new character or go for the roger ? Please advice me
