How do modern people hire prostitutes?

In the movies, guys cruise through the red-light district, arm out the car window, and hookers in fishnet stockings lean in and say, “Hey, sailor, looking for a good time?” I’ve never seen that happen in real life, but maybe I just don’t hang out in the right places.

What do people actually do in 2025? Is there an app for that? Website? Special phone number? Sit at the end of the bar? Or is it like buying drugs, where you have to know a guy who knows a guy?
