Would a non-religious Iranian woman, who doesn’t wear a hijab, feel uncomfortable going to an Iranian restaurant in DC?

I live in DC, and I met an Iranian woman. She’s not Muslim and doesn’t wear a hijab. We started talking about Iranian food, and I suggested we go to an Iranian restaurant. She seemed to like the idea, but she said she had to check her schedule.

Here’s the question, am I potentially putting her in an awkward position? Is she likely to face some hostility entering an Iranian restaurant without a hijab? I don’t know much about out the Iranian diaspora community. Is a non-religious Iranian woman likely to be accepted by other Iranians in a city like DC?
