Playing through the game, loving it so far, but am I valid for thinking the Soulscape goes on for too long?

Like, the gimmick's awesome, right? If I was playing any other game with something dedicated to this gimmick, I'd probably be all over it, but it's specifically when I get to the part where you follow the butterfly where I REALLY, REALLY started to get annoyed with it. Having to follow this thing everywhere while under a glorified timer really sucked a bit of the fun out, at least for me. Especially with some parts requiring quick movements, or the butterfly deciding to stall at places that don't have anything, at one point it went towards a ledge, and I made the mistake of prematurely jumping because I THOUGHT it was leading me to an invisible platform...only to get jebaited and there be nothing there (which is a skill issue on my end). This, combined with the checkpoints being few and far between, REALLY made me dislike what would otherwise be a really cool trick

I will say that I didn't dislike the Soulscape, it remined me of the Psychiatrist boss fight from Katana Zero (Please play Katana Zero) and dipping into the psychological horror aspect REALLY made this level stand out to me. Anyway, signing off, time to fight Lady Ethereal
