Jesmond Dene Road lanes

This junction plagues my existence every day with the amount of people using the left lane to skip the queue and go straight on, meaning they block people trying to turn left and also try to merge when there is no space at all in the junction to merge.

There are no signs or road markings so am I right that it’s left turn only in the left lane, or am I totally wrong and have been getting worked up over nothing lol

The whole junction is terrible especially with buses and lorries passing in both directions.
