Leaving this subreddit, thank you for the run
I don't want to make this like a dramatic exit ( I really don't matter) but just wanted to leave my two cents. I entered this subreddit hoping to learn and be able to share my insights. No follow 4 follow, as I think we can all agree we want organic growth, not farm followers who won't watch the content. As someone mentioned before, there are a lot of similar posts on the sub, whether it be people complaining about algorithm, bragging about their milestones without sharing their channel (as if two people entering their channel for 5 seconds will hurt retention and further mess up the algorithm), people posting let's plays with almost no commentary or added value and then complaining about the views. I did comment and post here and there, and doing so somehow had a few people enter my channel and dislike my videos (which is okay if they didn't like it) Also I got into this habit of entering the sub on a daily basis and checking the posts and reading, instead of doing more self reflecting, and that's why I am leaving the sub. I am definitely not someone who is good at researching, and I do things more at my pace and by the feel, so I don't sense any purpose here anymore. Thank you everyone, I sincerely hope as many people as possible here "make it" on YouTube. But never forget, if you lose the joy of being in the process, no money will compensate for that! Ciao
