Trying to move to NL to stay with my partner/future spouse.

Hi! I'm a US American national, my lovely partner has been a Dutch national by birth and has lived there her entire life. I am currently here in Holland visiting her and we have both discussed extensively what our plans for the future are, and we have concluded that with the political climate back in the USA (we are in a lesbian relationship) its not safe for us to marry or live in the USA when we move forward. The issue at hand is that I have been made to understand that moving to her will be extremely difficult, and the requirements are going to be impossible for me to currently meet. I'm disabled, suffering from autoimmune rheumatoid arthritis since I was a child, and I am still fighting with the US Government to try to obtain disability, which is notoriously difficult. As a result, I am not allowed to have any sort of gainful employment during my repeat attempts to apply, which take many months of waiting each time, which means I effectively have no income, and have been living off the good graces of my family whilst helping doing what work I can for them in turn. Is there any sort of loophole or something I can look into that will help me curb the income requirements? It's pretty much the only barrier left for me being able to apply for residency, but its one that I have no means of currently overcoming, and I don't really know where to go from here. I'm deeply thankful in advance for any help or suggestions, I just want to be with her.
