Democracy is a magical system bro. All the people are aligned with who they want in power, the ones in power win the trust of people by being genuine, majority voters are very politically aware and basically Magical shit happens and democracy leads to a great nation.
I haven't read history enough to understand why democracy has always been tricky neither do I have enough consciousness to know that what we have or what my idol nation America has had is oligarchy, not democracy. I just want to have a strong opinion and fit in to the 'current thing'. Being informed is outdated, following the script to appear modern and open minded is the new thing!
