We knew evolution way before Darwin ( dashavatar)

Matsya ( the fish)

Life started from the ocean

Kurma (the turtle/tortoise)

Depicts a transition of life from the oceans to land. These shelled creatures are found both in water and land.

Varaha ( the boar)

Life on land took a further step, more physically astute to adapt to land and completely land based

Narsimha (the man-lion)

Life on land started becoming more complex with more features. The man-lion hybrid being symbolic of the rise in intelligence and rise in life variation like land carnivores.

Vamana ( the dwarf) Early stages of human evolution, symbolizing humanoid forms, development of beings with the capacity of conscious thought

Parshurama ( the warrior with an axe)

Development of human civilization with tools and societal structures, marking the start of cultural evolution.

Rama ( the virtuous man)

Representation of the rise of human morality, culture, and the evolution of society’s ethical frameworks.

Krishna ( the divine cowherd)

Represents a higher stage of human consciousness, geared spiritual and intellectual evolution. Krishna’s teachings in the Bhagavad Gita reflect the evolution of human understanding of the self, duty, and the cosmos.

Buddha ( the enlightened one)

The pursuit of information, and the evolution of human consciousness towards spiritual enlightenment and inner peace.

Kalki ( the destructive one)

The inevitable destruction and renewal of human civilization

If this is not an accurate representation of evolution, I don't know what is. Some oversmart people might claim " 0h it s JusT iNteRprETatIoN cAn bE d0nE iN aNY WAy" but why else would they be classified in this order? there were more avatars but these were specifically picked to depict evolution. I'll wait for an alternative interpretation that's half as convincing.
