Do people really think Kishimoto is a misogynist?
Over the past few years in my time in the fandom, even as a child, I've noticed people call Masashi Kishimoto a misogynist or something along those lines. Typically, I would think it's a joke within the fan base, and no one truly thinks he is right. Typically, this line of thinking is followed after talking about how bad Naruto's female cast is written (I don't think this, at least not holistically, nor do I think it's the worst I've personally seen). Often, people will use the fact that he stated he struggles with writing female characters in the manga (I forget which chapter, but it's early part one of Naruto, so it's understandable he feels that way and often expressed he wanted to do better for his lead female character, Sakura Haruno. What are your thoughts on this topic?
