Feeling defeated

My daughter has been extubated for a month now and we were making such great progress and then suddenly she was laboring to breathe and bradied last night. Now she’s up on super high settings on NIPPV and I’m just so afraid she’s gonna need to get reintubated. I feel like we are never going home and completely discouraged. Doctors don’t know what happened yet but she doesn’t seem to be sick. They think she’s just tired but why would she suddenly get tired? None of this is making sense and I’m just about to give up.
