Any fix/tips for QB slide fumble?

Curious if anyone else experiences this very painful and bizarre thing -> feels like once or twice a game, if I scramble and slide (with plenty of space)- the defense gets a boost of speed as I enter the slide - picks me out of it from behind and the QB ends up fumbling.

Is this happening for others? Found any solutions?
