S197 coyote swap
I have an 06 gt and recently lost compression in cylinder 4, since I'm pulling the motor I looked into adding some power with forged pistons and cams, but i found out that with even all thay work, you're not going to get close to what a 5.0 can produce. So, I am looking into a 5.0 swap.
My plan was to obtain a 2011-14 gen 1 gt that was wrecked and salvage the motor, harness, pcm, trans, and everything. I know I will need a new connecter for the ac compressor, as well as a power steering bracket and new trans mount. My main concern is, will the s197 gen 2 wiring harness essentially be plug and play since I'm using the pcm for it as well?
